No spill control equipment was observed in the hazardous materials storage trailer or at any other <br /> site location where hazardous waste was stored. All facilities shall be equipped with portable fire <br /> extinguishers, fire control equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment as <br /> necessary. Immediately provide adequate spill control for all areas storing hazardous materials and <br /> wastes. Provide proof of correction to the EHD by August 2, 2014. <br /> 404. Multiple open containers of hazardous waste, described in violation 301,were observed onsite at <br /> the time of inspection. All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or <br /> removing waste. Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are <br /> closed when not adding or removing waste. Submit proof of correction to the EHD by August 2, 2014. <br /> 605. Two 55-gallon steel containers, (full of oily water according to Mr. Salazar) located adjacent to the <br /> northwestern property corner, and multiple containers described in violation 301, were lacking <br /> hazardous waste labels. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since it cannot be determined how long the aforementioned containers have been on site, <br /> immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and <br /> submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by August 2, 2014. <br /> 609. Several used oil filters were observed inside the drain pan located on the northern portion of the <br /> property adjacent to the storage trailer. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil. Ensure that <br /> all used oil filters are drained prior to storing them. <br /> 610. Several used oil filters were observed inside a drain pan full of oily liquid; the drain pan was located <br /> adjacent to the storage trailer in the norther part of the property. Used oil filters must be stored in a <br /> closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start <br /> date.
