Performed paperwork inspection on 11/16/12. <br /> Hazardous waste official inspection report provided 11/16/12. <br /> Class II/ Repeat violation. 108, 305, 6051(aa I�-- ) IN4- <br /> 108. Failed to determine if waste is a hazardous waste. At least six 5 gallon metal containers of Rust- <br /> oleum Epoxy Mastic flammable paint were found in the metal only bin. One of the cans appears not <br /> empty by feel of weight. It appears the outside contractors who are fixing the facility's building had thrown <br /> paint cans in the metal bin. When the safety supervisor had removed three of the paint cans, he received <br /> fresh blue staining on his fingers. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a <br /> hazardous waste. Immediately remove the waste paint cans, make a hazardous waste determination for <br /> the paint cans, and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement <br /> and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> 605. Failed to completely label containers of hazardous waste. A 5 gallon plastic white bucket half full of <br /> waste COD tubes which contains mercury and corrosive liquid lacks the start accumulation date. All <br /> hazardous waste labels must have the minimum following information: <br /> 1. words "Hazardous Waste" 2. name & address of generator 3. contents/composition <br /> 4. physical state 5. hazardous property 6. start accumulation date <br /> Immediately mark the start accumulation date. <br /> Corrected on site.
