This facility does not have a valid EPA ID number to mana <br /> hazardous waste. A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, <br /> hazardous waste without an EPA ID number. Immediately obtain an EPA ID number to manage hazardous waste and <br /> submit evidence to the EHD. A form has been provided. This is a Minor Violation. <br /> 116 Failed to report program data electronically. A submission to the California Electronic Reporting System (CERS)for the <br /> hazardous waste program has not been made. Beginning January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all nev <br /> (or any changes to existing) hazardous waste information online to the CERS at hftp://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to <br /> include your hazardous waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant <br /> activities and required fields. You may consider scheduling an appointment with EHD to assist you in meeting this <br /> compliance. This is a Minor Violation. <br /> 301 Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. Observed about a cup of radiator fluid on the shol <br /> floor from a vehicle generator is currently working on, and many partially dismantled vehicles, mechanic parts, arc lamps <br /> and metal waste in the yard exposed to the elements. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human <br /> health or the environment. Immediately clean the stain, and manage the yard that will minimize releases according to Ti <br /> 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was <br /> managed. This is a Minor violation <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by October 23, 2014. <br /> Consent to perform the inspection, take photos and collect samples was given by Jose Ramirez the owner of the <br /> business. <br /> Facility generated less than 5 tons of waste in the last calendar year (Jan-Dec) based on this inspection and <br /> interview with the generator. Facility was placed on the EHD hazardous waste generator inventory following a <br /> complaint inspection (000038268) on 9/4/2014. Did not observe waste oil or anti-freeze as alleged in the <br /> complaint, but confirmed facility to be a hazardous waste generator.
