This facility does not have a valid EPA ID number to mana hazardous waste. A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an EPA ID number. Immediately obtain an EPA ID number to manage hazardous waste and submit evidence to the EHD. A form has been provided. This is a Minor Violation. 116 Failed to report program data electronically. A submission to the California Electronic Reporting System (CERS)for the hazardous waste program has not been made. Beginning January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all nev (or any changes to existing) hazardous waste information online to the CERS at hftp://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include your hazardous waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant activities and required fields. You may consider scheduling an appointment with EHD to assist you in meeting this compliance. This is a Minor Violation. 301 Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. Observed about a cup of radiator fluid on the shol floor from a vehicle generator is currently working on, and many partially dismantled vehicles, mechanic parts, arc lamps and metal waste in the yard exposed to the elements. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean the stain, and manage the yard that will minimize releases according to Ti 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. This is a Minor violation Overall Inspection Comments: Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting paperwork, by October 23, 2014. Consent to perform the inspection, take photos and collect samples was given by Jose Ramirez the owner of the business. Facility generated less than 5 tons of waste in the last calendar year (Jan-Dec) based on this inspection and interview with the generator. Facility was placed on the EHD hazardous waste generator inventory following a complaint inspection (000038268) on 9/4/2014. Did not observe waste oil or anti-freeze as alleged in the complaint, but confirmed facility to be a hazardous waste generator.
