' Site Safety Plan <br /> Job No. 4780201 • • Page 2 <br /> 1 <br /> II. PROJECT PERSONNEL AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> 1 A. Site Safety Officer (SSO): Brenda McNabb, EZC, Inc. <br /> ' The SSO will be on-site during all activities conducted in the known area of <br /> contamination or Exclusion Zone, and shall be responsible for the <br /> implementation of the SSP. Specific duties will include: <br /> ' - Monitoring the compliance of field personnel for the proper use of the <br /> ' Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). <br /> - Stopping work on the site if any operation threatens the health and <br /> ' safety of workers or the public and monitoring personnel entering and <br /> exiting the site. <br /> ' - Knowing emergency procedures, evacuation routes, and the telephone <br /> numbers of the ambulance, local hospital, poison center, fire and police <br /> departments. <br /> ' - Coordinating the upgrading and downgrading of PPE with the Health and <br /> Safety Manager as deemed necessary. <br /> ' - Arranging for air quality monitoring to be performed by appropriately <br /> ' trained individuals using approved instrumentation. <br /> ' B. Health and Safety Manager: Ken Price, EZC, Inc. <br /> The Health and Safety Manager shall be responsible for the overall coordination <br /> ' and oversight of the SSP. <br /> ' C. Field Personnel <br /> All field personnel shall be responsible for acting in compliance with all safety <br /> ' procedures outlined in this SSP.
