SITE-SPECIFIC SAFETY PLAN <br /> SIEBOLD CONSTRUCTION PROPERTY <br /> 820 SOUTH AMERICAN STREET, STOCKTON, CA <br /> 1• INTRODUCTION <br /> This Site-Specific Safety Plan (Safety Plan) has been prepared to minimize the threat of serious injury to <br /> workers while conducting drilling, and monitoring well construction related activities at the Siebold <br /> Construction Property, in Stockton, California (Site). GHD has prepared this Safety Plan under contract <br /> with the State of California Department of General Services, Real Estate Services Department(DGS- <br /> RESD), for the scopes of work requested by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) under the Emergency, Abandoned, or Recalcitrant(EAR)Account. Appropriate GHD <br /> personnel and subcontractor personnel will be briefed on the Safety Plan and will have unrestricted access <br /> to the Safety Plan. <br /> This Safety Plan offers guidelines and precautions for employees of GHD. It is the responsibility of each <br /> individual who is working on the Site to conduct themselves in a cautious manner and avoid actions and/or <br /> situations that could jeopardize his or her own safety and well being. GHD is not responsible for the actions <br /> of employees of other contractors or their subcontractors, <br /> Possible environment. but will work with them to create the safest <br /> GHD is not responsible or liable for the injuries of any person working on the Site, with the exception of <br /> GHD employees, to the extent that they are covered by GHD's Workers' Compensation Insurance. <br /> 1.1 Site Safety Officer <br /> GHD's Site Safety Officer(SSO)will be Ryan Crawford. The SSO is responsible for ensuring that safe <br /> work practices and emergency response procedures are followed. <br /> 2• EMERGENCY RESPONSE <br /> The SSO will carry a mobile phone in case emergency services are required.
