2.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The scope of services were conducted to evaluate the potential impact of hazardous <br /> materials that might be found on the site. The following activities were conducted. <br /> • Reviewing available documents and aerial photographs related to historical <br /> development of the site and adjacent properties. <br /> • Contacting appropriate Federal, State and local regulatory agencies for <br /> documented hazardous materials information concerning the site and the study <br /> area, defined as the surrounding area located within a 1/4-mile-radius of the site <br /> boundaries. <br /> Conducting an on-site review and off-site reconnaissance to assess visible <br /> evidence of the generation, use, storage or disposal of hazardous materials. The <br /> evaluation of the potential for soil and/or ground-water contamination at the <br /> site and its immediate surroundings was based on aboveground visual <br /> observations. <br /> • Complete two (2) borings to ground-water and sample for gasoline <br /> contamination. <br /> Reviewing available reports for information pertaining to soil and ground-water <br /> contamination at and in the vicinity of the site. <br /> • Evaluating findings and preparing this report. <br /> 2 <br />
