Submit a <br />statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed <br />within 30 days of receiving this report. <br />Actions taken: In response to the failure to identify waste metal fines as hazardous, the <br />decision was made to treat the metal fines in the machine shop as hazardous. A <br />Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) was generated to outline this new policy and <br />describe the proper handling and disposal of small metal fines.
