Actions taken: TWG has recovered all missing manifests for 2011. Through contacting our hazardous waste transporter, in an attempt to rebuild our 3 years of manifest records, we recovered all manifests from 2010 and most of the missing manifests from 2009. Below is the full list of manifests recovered. Also included will be monthly reminders to check that we have received the destination facility manifest copy of each manifest. Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD within 30 days of receiving this report. Facility had a 55 gallon drum storing drained used filters not labeled as such. Used oil filters must be stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately add "drained used oil filters" and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. Actions Taken: All labeling issues have been resolved. An accumulation start date was added where missing, hazardous waste labels were added to the lab waste chemicals, and the drum containing used oil filters was labeled accordingly. Evidence of these changes can be found in Appendix C. Since an accumulation time could not be verified due to the missing accumulation start date, a hazardous waste pick up was carried out the same day as the inspection.
