The secondary containment spill control equipment of the used coolant, used oil, and used <br /> absorbent have spilled automotive fluids in it. All facility communications or alarm systems, fire <br /> protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be <br /> tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Correct <br /> immediately by removing the liquid, make a Title 22 hazardous waste determination, and manage <br /> according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation <br /> explaining how this waste was managed by October 3, 2013. <br /> 605. In the auto shop, two 55 gallon hazardous waste drums for used oil lacked hazardous waste <br /> property and the east drum had an illegible start date. Drum of used absorbent lacked an accumulations <br /> start date. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since it cannot be determined how long the drum of hazardous waste oil and absorbent in <br /> the auto shop has been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of <br /> this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by October 3, 2013. <br /> 605 & 701. The used coolant drum lacked a hazardous waste property, physical state and had a date of <br /> 11-1-12. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information.
