This container will be
inspected as part of our monthly waste inspection. Additional training was given and
additional signage will be added to the area.
One open red 5-gallon container approximately 1/5 full of oily liquid and rags was located
adjacent to the satellite accumulation area.
Pactiv Response:The oily liquid was removed and placed in the appropriate waste container.
The red rag container was closed.
A small non-containerized pile (less than 1-gallon in volume) of used oily absorbent was located
on the shelf of the mop storage"shed located adjacent to the satellite accumulation area.
Pactiv Response: The material was moved to an appropriate waste container.
407
Six empty 55-gallon white and red colored containers which formerly held lubricating solutions
had an "empty""label and were dated 4-I5-2014.
Pactiv Response:This has been corrected and appropriate personnel have been retrained on
empty container management. Empty container management has been added to our month
waste inspection checklist.
603
One 55-gallon container located in or adjacent to the satellite accumulation area was full and
overflowing with saturated oily absorbent pads and had no label.
Pactiv Response: A label was added with correct start date. Excess waste was added to
another container and that container was properly labeled. Additional training was given on
waste lid closure and additional signage will be added to the area.
605
One 55-gallon container located adjacent to the satellite accumulation area was full and
overflowing with saturated oily absorbent pads and had no label.
Pactiv Response: See response to 603.
One 55-gallon container of oil and water located next to the outdoor compressor area was
lacking an accumulation start date.
Pactiv Response: The label has been corrected to include a start date.
