(JTF) facility, located at 1819 South Argonaut Street in Stockton, Californias. A
' site location map is provided as Figure 1.
' BACKGROUND
The JTF Stockton monitoring well network consists of five wells that were
installed in March 2000 (Figure 2). Groundwater monitoring has been performed at
' JTF Stockton since April 2000. Compounds detected in groundwater samples include
1,2-dichloropropane (1,2-DCP) and 1,2,3-trichloropropane (1,2,3-TCP). Analytical data
' indicate that these compounds are present in groundwater at the downgradient site
property boundary, and may extend beyond the site monitoring well network.
' In May 2003, GeoSyntec proposed to collect grab groundwater samples at offsite
locations in the vicinity of South Argonaut Street to investigate the downgradient extent
of site-related compounds in groundwater2. By letter dated 9 July 2003, the Regional
t 23 August 2004. Letter from Amy Terrell to Mr. Eric Jenks.
