Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Shop floor sweep debris consisting of metal fines and oil contaminated gaskets generated from the maintenance shop are being thrown into the trash without first determining hazardous properties. Immediately stop disposing of the shop floor sweep debris into the trash, make a hazardous waste determination for the shop floor sweep debris, and manage it according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by December 19, 2012. 122 & 125. Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for 2009 were not found on site. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
