REM JUL 212015 <br /> Job Description <br /> Job Title: Hazardous Waste Coordinator <br /> Department: All <br /> Reports To: Dave Morganson <br /> Prepared Date: 07/20/2015 <br /> Approved By: <br /> Approved Date: <br /> Revised Date: <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Addresses environmental and safety issues by identifying short-term and long-term range issues that must <br /> be addressed; recommending options and courses of action to department managers <br /> ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. <br /> Consults and coordinates with department managers to ensure the dealership facility complies with local, <br /> state and federal hazardous waste regulations and any assist department managers where needed during a <br /> government agency inspection. <br /> Read, interpret,apply and explain complex laws,codes regulations, rules policies and procedures <br /> Conduct and document effective inspections relating to hazardous materials storage and handling. <br /> Maintain accurate inspection and training records <br /> Reviews and schedules waste management training for company personnel. <br /> Training for the Hazardous Waste Coordinator would consist of Basic Hazardous Waste Management, <br /> Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure(SPCC)Plans for Aboveground storage act(APSA), <br /> Universal Waste Management,and Hazardous Material Business Plan/CERS.This will be an annual <br /> schedule, and will include any additional training to meet the legal and business requirements. <br /> MARGINAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. <br /> SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> None <br /> QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each <br /> essential duty satisfactorily.
