Stockton Plant <br /> Due to the large discrepancy between the sample results <br /> received by the Public Health Services and those received by <br /> Dopaco, Inc. on the split sample taken 8/6/93 , Dopaco, Inc. does <br /> not agree with all of the violations as noted in your letter <br /> dated October 12 , 1993 . However, while we are pursuing a <br /> complete characterization of this waste stream, Dopaco, Inc. has <br /> instituted the following corrective actions as outlined in your <br /> letter: <br /> Violation #1: No wastes from the OPMR waste stream have <br /> been disposed of since notification by the <br /> Public Health Services of the hazardous <br /> nature of this waste. Should <br /> characterization not be completed within the <br /> 90 day holding time for hazardous wastes, <br /> this waste will be disposed of as hazardous. <br /> Violation #2 : Dopaco, Inc. is in the process of adequately <br /> characterizing all waste streams. As agreed <br /> to by Michael Drayton, Esquire, on behalf of <br /> Dopaco, and Kasey Foley, of the Public Health <br /> Service, this characterization will be <br /> completed by November 12 , 1993 . Enclosed for <br /> your review is a copy of the analysis <br /> conducted in October 1992 and subsequent <br /> evaluations of pH done to assure the wastes <br /> non-hazardous nature. <br /> Violation #3 : No OPMR waste has been shipped since <br /> notification by the Public Health Services of <br /> the hazardous nature of this waste.
