.. <br />..i <br />The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br />addressed for AMESSA AUTOMOTIVE CNTR as of June 02, 2016. <br />Open violations from January 11, 2016 inspection <br />Violation #101 - Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number. <br />This facility's hazardous waste ID number is inactive. A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, <br />transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without a hazardous waste ID number. Go to the DTSC web si <br />http://www.dtsc.ca.gov/IDManifest/PERMHWID.cfm for the form to reactivate the ID number. Immediately reactivat <br />your EPA ID number and submit evidence to the EHD. <br />Violation #116 - Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br />An inspection was last done on September 5, 2013 and an inspection report was issued identifying information to be <br />submitted to bring this site into compliance. This information was required to be submitted by October 5, 2013. This <br />information has not been received resulting in a noncompliant status for this facility. An operator that receives an <br />inspection report shall have 30 days to submit a written response that includes a statement documenting corrective <br />actions taken or proposing corrective actions which will be taken. Ensure that a written response documenting <br />corrective actions taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. Existing violation <br />include: <br />- Managed a hazardous waste without an active EPA number <br />- Failed to determine if waste is a hazardous waste for oily rags and absorbent floor sweep <br />- Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste <br />Violation #117 - Failed to report program data electronically. <br />A submission to the California Electronic Reporting System (CERS) for the hazardous waste program has not been <br />made. Beginning January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all new (or any changes to existing) <br />hazardous waste information online to the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include your hazardous <br />waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant activities and required <br />fields. <br />Violation #403 - Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing <br />hazardous waste. <br />Containers of hazardous waste that were open during inspection: <br />- A White 55 gallon drums of used antifreeze on the north side of the shop <br />- Two red 55 gallon drums of used oil on the north side of the shop <br />- A blue 55 gallon drum of used oil on the north side of the shop <br />- Brown 500 gallon container used as secondary containment on the north side of the facility <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately <br />close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. If <br />the brown 500 gallon container is used as secondary containment it needs to be clean of hazardous waste. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
