Shill / Release: Procedures will outline responsibilities to be assumed by those in the Medical facility and will specifically address the role of external agencies contracted to address emergency spills. • Spills mtlst be cleaned up immediately by a properly trained person using appropriate personal protective equipment in relation to the spill. • Spills are cleaned according to Hazardous Waste Management Policy EC.HI.056: Spill Managentent: Hazardous Materials & Waste. • In the event of an employee exposure, the ernployee shall immediately be evaluated at the; Employee Health Services or an Emergency Department.
