A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or off( <br />for transportation, hazardous waste without an EPA ID number. Immediately contact DTSC and reactivate your EPA ID <br />number and submit evidence to the EHD. A form has been provided. This is a minor violation. <br />102 <br />CCR 66262.11, 66262.40(c) Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste or retain waste analysis on site for 3 <br />years. <br />The following require hazardous waste determination: 1) blue bottle of unknown liquid inside the former paint booth; 2) <br />metal 5 -gallon bucket of unknown liquid outside the paint booth by the stairs, and 3) metal fines at a lathe by the used o <br />containers. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Any person who <br />generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Further, metal particles 100 microns or smaller <br />must be handled as hazardous waste if the metal is determined to be a hazardous waste. Immediately make a <br />hazardous waste determination for the above waste including size determination for the metal fines, and manage it <br />according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how <br />this waste was managed.
