Facilities <br /> who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at <br /> any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose <br /> of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. This is a repeat Class II violation. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> No hazardous property on a 55-gallon drum of oily water, and no start date of accumulation nor the words"Hazard <br /> Waste" on the used oil tank. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> and all hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words"Hazardous Waste" and the accumulation start date. <br /> Immediately label all hazardous waste containers and tanks and ensure they are marked with all the required <br /> information. This is a repeat Class II violation. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 704 CCR 66273.33(b) Failed to properly manage universal waste lamps. <br /> Containers for at least 17 universal waste lamps were not closed. Universal waste lamps shall be stored in a manner <br /> that prevents breakage and release to the environment. All broken universal waste lamps and releases shall be <br /> immediately cleaned and containerized. Immediately store all universal waste lamps in a manner that prevents <br /> breakage and release to the environment. This is a Class II repeat violation. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 713 CCR 66273.35 Stored UW onsite greater than one year or was unable to demonstrate the time UW has been stored. <br /> The 17 Universal waste lamps and 30-gallon drum of waste aerosol cans referenced in this report is considered to be <br /> stored on site longer than 1 year the containers were not marked with the start date of accumulation. Universal waste <br /> may be accumulated for no longer than one year from the date the universal waste was generated. The universal <br /> waste handler shall be able to demonstrate the length of time that the universal waste has been accumulated. Since <br /> it could not be demonstrated how long this waste was stored on site, immediately dispose of this waste and submit a <br /> copy of the disposal receipt to the EHD.
