Minor-Notice to Comply: 108, 128, 301, 407, 610, 703, 804, 809, & 812. <br /> 108. Metal fines generated from the maintenance shop are being recycled as scrap metal without first <br /> determining particle size or hazardous properties. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if <br /> the waste is a hazardous waste, Immediately stop recycling metal fines, make a hazardous waste <br /> determination for the metal fines, and manage it according to the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. <br /> Particles 100 microns or smaller must be handled as hazardous waste if the metal is determined to be a <br /> hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was <br /> managed by 2-6-12. <br /> 108. Used sand blast media has been left on the maintenance shop floor. Any person who generates a <br /> waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Clean up the spilled sand blast media, make a <br /> hazardous waste determination, and manage it according to the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. <br /> Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by 2-6-12. <br /> 128. Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site. A <br /> copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all <br /> bills of lading for used oil filters for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the <br /> EHD by 2-6-12. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> inspector. j Received By.
