All <br /> hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close <br /> these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 404 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to inspect hazardous waste storage areas at least weekly. <br /> Hazardous waste containers are not inspected weekly, oily staining was noted on on around containers. Hazardous <br /> waste container storage and transfer areas shall be inspected weekly for leaking containers and for deterioration of <br /> containers and the containment system caused by corrosion and other factors. Immediately begin conducting the <br /> necessary weekly inspections for all hazardous waste containers at this facility. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> Several open unlabeled drain pans which had oily liquid in them were located in the hazardous waste storage area. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored <br /> on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler <br /> to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Several open unlabeled drain pans which had oily liquid in them were located in the hazardous waste storage area. All <br /> hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information.
