The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for CABRAL CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE as of February 12, 2016. <br /> Open violations from April 27, 2015 inspection <br /> Violation#605- Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> One drain pan containing dark oily waste liquid was observed in the outdoor car lift area. Mr. Cahoon stated that it <br /> should not be there and has been likely left behind and forgotten after an oil change. This container lacked a <br /> hazardous waste label. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately containerize this waste, affix appropriate label, and ensure that all containers are marked with all the <br /> required information. Since it cannot be determined how long this waste has been on site, immediately contact a <br /> licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the <br /> EHD. <br /> Violation#608 -Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> One black container(of approximately 30 gallon capacity)full of commingled oil and gasoline filters, located in the <br /> drive through maintenance area, lacked an appropriate label. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, star( <br /> in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters,"and marked with an accumulation start date. Th <br /> container was labeled as appropriate at the time of inspection (with the exception of the accumulation start date); <br /> ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. Since it cannot be determined how tong the aforementioned <br /> waste has been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste as <br /> appropriate, and submit proof of correction to the EHD. <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br />
