The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for CABRAL CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE as of February 12, 2016. Open violations from April 27, 2015 inspection Violation#605- Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. One drain pan containing dark oily waste liquid was observed in the outdoor car lift area. Mr. Cahoon stated that it should not be there and has been likely left behind and forgotten after an oil change. This container lacked a hazardous waste label. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: -the words"Hazardous Waste" - name and address of generator - hazardous properties -physical state -composition (contents) -accumulation start date Immediately containerize this waste, affix appropriate label, and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since it cannot be determined how long this waste has been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. Violation#608 -Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. One black container(of approximately 30 gallon capacity)full of commingled oil and gasoline filters, located in the drive through maintenance area, lacked an appropriate label. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, star( in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters,"and marked with an accumulation start date. Th container was labeled as appropriate at the time of inspection (with the exception of the accumulation start date); ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. Since it cannot be determined how tong the aforementioned waste has been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste as appropriate, and submit proof of correction to the EHD.
