Some of the <br /> florescent tubes were broken. Hazardous wastes shall be disposed of only by transportation to a permitted hazardous <br /> ;ste treatment, storage, and disposal facility (TSDF). Immediately cease disposal of hazardous waste onsite and <br /> ire that all future waste is hauled by a licensed hazardous waste transporter to a permitted TSDF. Submit proof of <br /> ..oi rection to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class I violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66265.31 Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> A large accumulation of florescent lamps(4 to 6 feet) in length and large industrial size bulbs was observed on the <br /> ground inside the fenced enclosure located below beneath electrical power lines. Also, metal fines were noted on the <br /> shop floor next to the metal grinding equipment. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility <br /> of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or <br /> the environment. Immediately clean all spills and leaks, and manage them according to Title 22 hazardous waste <br /> regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class It. <br /> 304 CCR 66265.35 Failed to maintain adequate aisle space for unobstructed response to emergencies. <br /> Several 55-gallon containers, located inside the hazardous waste accumulation area, were stored in a manner which <br /> prevented the unobstructed movement around the containers and impeded the view of the hazardous waste containe <br /> labels.
