All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding <br /> or removing waste. Immediately close this container and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not <br /> adding or removing waste. Submit proof of correction to the <br /> EHD. <br /> This is a Class It violation. <br /> 301 CCR 68262.34(a)Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> One 15 gallon metal container, located in the fenced in enclosure next to the power lines, had some oily liquid(1/2 <br /> container) and lacked a hazardous waste label. Also, one 5-gallon plastic container of unknown contents (which had <br /> no label)was also noted inside the above enclosure, Mr. Gardner indicated he will be handling these containers with <br /> unknown wastes as hazardous waste. Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month may <br /> store waste on site up to 90 days.
