U-Haul <br /> Facility Number 709-83,450 North Cherokee Lane <br /> Lodi, California ` <br /> WPI Project#96237 <br /> HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN <br /> Page 10 <br /> SECTION 5.0 <br /> 5.1 HAZARD ASSESSMENT <br /> Chemical hazards that WPI personnel may encounter include petroleum fuel products, gasoline <br /> and diesel fuel and associated volatile organic compounds. The physical hazards include <br /> underground utility obstructions to excavation, overhead hazards (power lines and structures) and <br /> contact with moving equipment or moving parts on equipment. <br /> The potential human contamination exposure pathways or routes of entry include inhalation, <br /> ingestion, skin contact and eye exposure. The appropriate measures to reduce the possibility of <br /> exposure will be taken, if necessary, including the use of PPE and implementation of work <br /> procedures. <br /> The major site activities and associated hazard analysis is presented on the following page. <br />
