• 0 <br />4.0 MONITORING PROCEDURE <br />Visual inspection by designated site personnel will be performed on all above ground <br />piping, valves and day tanks on a weekly basis each Wednesday. This activity is in <br />conjunction with pulling the data off the monitoring unit and recording in monitoring log. <br />This log is maintained at the first floor MAP Room where the Veeder-Root monitoring unit <br />is wall mounted. <br />5.0 PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE FOR MONITORING <br />UNIT <br />TLS - 350 Console - yearly <br />a. Check printer for paper <br />b. Check system display <br />c. Print out or check TLS inventory <br />d. Printout or check TLS setup values <br />e. Verify battery backup is working <br />Piping Sump Sensor - yearly <br />a. Inspect sensors to verify float moves freely <br />Probe - yearly <br />a. Run diagnostic check on probes and verify there are no open or shorted <br />segments. <br />b. Inspect probe cables for any cracking or swelling and replace as necessary <br />6.0 TRAINING <br />6.1 Overview of applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations <br />6.2 Emergency response actions <br />6.3 Inspection procedures <br />6.4 Operation of fueling system <br />6.5 Recording of UST system information (Log) <br />6.6 Contact list and procedure for call outs <br />6.7 Training will be once a year and refresher classes offered as needed for all <br />on site employees.
