UPS <br /> The UPS systems are to follow the same guidelines as the power and generators. <br /> All work inside UPS cabinets must be done during jeopardy window. <br /> Each UPS is to be evaluated for the extent of alarming being done. <br /> If the current alarming method only provides for a general alarm then it <br /> steps can be taken to have a more extensive is to be noted so <br /> UPS alarming system put in place. <br /> DC Plants <br /> The DC plants voltages and amperages are to be established from DC plant rectifier <br /> meter readings. <br /> Under no circumstances should DC amperage testing be attempted. <br /> Verify the number of DC plants on site and confirm that all plants are being mit <br /> the BAS. monitored b y <br /> Halon <br /> The halon panels are tested on a regular basis utilizing the halon vendor. <br /> Revalidation of halon systems should occur at the time vendor does routine halon <br /> inspection and testing. <br /> Fire Alarm Systems <br /> Some facilities will have additional fire alarm interface equipment. <br /> This equipment is to be tested and inspected by an approved vendor specializing in the <br /> type of equipment located at the facility. <br /> The BAS alarms will be verified at the time of that test. <br /> This is to include any wet or dry sprinkler systems and their attachments. <br /> 6 <br />
