Contact the local Fire Department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits. <br /> 2. Any changes shall be submitted to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD) for approval prior to commencing work. All new addenda supercede <br /> the previous ones. <br /> 3. All components must be certified by an independent testing organization. (UL, ULC, <br /> ANSI,API, ASTM,etc. See California Code of Regulations(CCR),Title 23 Chapter 16 <br /> Table B for complete list). The component must bear the appropriate mark as required by <br /> the independent testing organization. <br /> 4. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal <br /> supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the <br /> following: <br /> a. One of several permissible valid,current contractor's licenses issued by the <br /> Contractors State License Board(may be issued to the installation company), and <br /> b. All valid, current California UST certificates issued by the International Code <br /> Council (ICC),that are applicable to the work being performed, and <br /> c. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the <br /> component(s)being tested, repaired, or serviced. <br /> and <br /> d. Each person installing or testing any component must hold a certificate of <br /> training from the manufacturer of that component. <br />
