Purge the tanks with 30 lbs. per 1,000 gallons of dry ice until it <br />is non -explosive. This will be double-checked by an explosive <br />meter. <br />10. Excavate as required to remove tanks. <br />Si. When required governing authorities are on site, then tanks shall <br />be removed from the ground. <br />12. Demonstrate to permitting authorities that there has been no <br />significant soil contamination resulting from adischarge inthe <br />area surrounding the underground tank or facility. <br />15. Soil and ground water samples are to be taken as required. Samples <br />are to be analyzed by an approved EPA and DOHS laboratory as <br />required by the Project Manager. <br />14. If assessment indicated environmental contamination, the "LEAD" <br />agency's authority will provide direction for Clean-up of the site. <br />15. Steel tanks will be destroyed and cut-up for scrap. A picture of <br />destruction will be provided,and a tracking destruction form will <br />be provided. <br />16. protective clothing will be on site to be used as required. All <br />workers have Cal -OSHA 29 CFR 110 + 13U training. and at least one <br />employee has completed the First Aid/CPR training course. <br />17. Each employee is recieving instructions per SH -198 in a mandatory <br />"tailgate training" session held every week. No employee will be <br />allowed to work under the influence of alcohol or drugs; per the <br />"Drug -Free Workplace" guidelines that each employee has signed for. <br />
