4-29-88 Administrative Office Hearing was scheduled for 3 : 00 pm <br /> on 5-13-88. Notice of pending hearing sent to Smith- <br /> Barton Properties with a carbon copy to American Real <br /> Estate. (See Exhibit F) <br /> 5-13-88 No one appeared for the scheduled Administrative Office <br /> Hearing. <br /> 5-24-88 Major Stations, Inc. submitted bankruptcy papers to <br /> this office. (See Exhibit G) <br /> 5-25-88 Jeanne Zolezzi, attorney for Mrs. Conrady, contacted <br /> PHS-EHD stating that her client may not be interested <br /> in foreclosing on the property now owned by Smith- <br /> Burton Properties. This property was now in <br /> bankruptcy, with the hearing scheduled for June 2 , <br /> 1988, in Modesto, CA. Ms. Zolezzi indicated that her <br /> client may perform a subsurface investigation to <br /> determine if contamination has occurred. <br /> Public Record Release Request filed. (See Exhibit H) <br /> 6-21-88 Lisa Brown, Deputy DA, notified of status of facility. <br /> She requested a referral be sent her office. <br /> 10-11-88 Stockton Service Station Equipment Company, Inc. <br /> uncovered top of the 10, 000 gallon unleaded tank, and <br /> no visual evidence of soil contamination was noted by <br /> Kasey Foley, E.H.S. , in this location. (See Exhibit I) <br /> 1-11-89 PHS-EHD was informed that the precision test on the <br /> 10, 000 gallon unleaded tank, performed by Stockton <br /> Service Station Equipment Company, Inc. , on 12-2-88 , <br /> had failed. <br /> 1-23-89 Doug Bitner of American Savings and Loan (New West <br /> Federal) claimed to hold the 2nd deed on the property <br /> and was aware of the failed precision test. He stated <br /> that they had closed down the station. Letitia Resch, <br /> E.H.S. requested precision test results and a status on <br /> the tanks (i.e. empty/full) . <br /> 1-24-89 PHS-EHD was contacted by Mr. Herb Young, attorney for <br /> the bankruptcy of Major Stations, Inc. He was advised <br /> to provide the current status of the tanks and was <br /> mailed tank closure and site assessment information. <br /> 2-21-89 Richard Zipp of Thorne Environmental requested and was <br /> mailed site assessment information. <br /> 3-1-89 Kasey Foley, E.H. S. , contacted Chuck Pomery, attorney <br /> for American Savings, and again requested the results <br /> of the 10, 000 gallon unleaded tank precision test <br /> performed 12-2-88. <br />
