1 � <br /> Advanced <br /> +GeoEnvironmental, Inc , <br /> RECFE11'VV ED <br /> 15 May 2001 MAY 2 1 2001 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 01-0810 <br /> ENVIRONMENT HEALTH <br /> PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Public Health Services- Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, 3'Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 952011 <br /> Subject: Underground Storage Tank Removal and Soil Sample Analysis <br /> FORMER JC PENNEY'S/ROSENTHAL BUILDING <br /> 24 South American Street, Stockton, California <br /> At the request of Mr. Rick Correia of the Bank of Stockton, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. <br /> has prepared the enclosed report in conjunction with the removal of one 500-gallon steel, <br /> underground storage tank(UST) at 24 South American Street, Stockton, California. <br /> BACKGROUND LOCATION <br /> The site is located in a commercial area of central Stockton, California, (Figure 1): A compound <br /> of multi-story buildings occupy the western side of the site, while a large parking area occupies <br /> the eastern side of the site. <br /> UST REMOVAL <br /> One waste oil UST (600-gallon) wasremoved on 04 May 2001 (Figure 2). Prior to removal of <br /> the UST, the tank was triple rinsed by AGE, using a pressure washer and an alconox solution. <br /> The liquid contents of the waste oil UST were removed. On 08 March 2001, the total liquid <br /> volume of the UST (500-gallons) of waste water was removed by American Valley Waste Oil of <br /> Turlock, California. The waste was transported under manifest to Industrial Service Oil <br /> Company, Inc.
