I did receive a voicemail <br />yesterday around 2 pm that was indecipherable. There was a considerable amount of static <br />and I could not tell if it was you that had left me the voicemail or not. <br />At any rate, I need to know what the status is of the UST Installation Permit. I am aware of the <br />discussions that were held between you and David Painter and Mary Rose Holtz of my office. <br />We have consulted with the geotechnical engineer and have confirmed that the contractor will <br />be held responsible for determining whether shoring is needed during tank installation (see <br />attached). A note to this effect is always placed on our tank and electrical drawings. We do <br />not specify whether or not shoring is required. It is solely at the discretion of the contractor and <br />is based on field conditions and the geotechnical engineer's recommendations. <br />We have prepared revisions to the plans for the vent transition since our initial submittal of the <br />plans to your office.
