�j <br />• <br />The Power Distribution Center Specification <br />CSS Series <br />Overview <br />The Power Distribution Center (PDC) is a pre -fabricated, factory tested electrical <br />distribution and control cabinet assembly. It includes the following subsystems: <br />• Electrical distribution (subpanels and circuit breakers.) <br />• Automatic outside lighting controls and contactors. <br />• Integrated fueling controls for dispensers and submersible pumps. <br />• Pre-installed variable speed controllers for submersible pumps (when provided by <br />the customer.) <br />• Modular aluminum cabinet construction with access doors and panel covers. <br />• 50 hours of factory assembly, testing, and inspection (to offset field electrical labor.) <br />Peripheral control Items are shipped loose. They are field installed and wired to <br />specified terminal strips within the Power Distribution Center: <br />• Outdoor light sensor (low voltage, analog type) and 50' shielded cable for <br />installation. <br />• Cashier control center for remote control of fueling and lighting functions (i.e. from <br />the front counter.) <br />• Emergency stop switches in weatherproof enclosures for outdoor access to <br />emergency stop of entire fueling system. <br />The installation of the entire system and remote peripheral items are the responsibility <br />of the electrical contractor as part of the electrical scope of work. <br />August, 2001 <br />
