Below is a list of emergency response facilities and agencies that will be maintained <br /> 16.'' onsite: <br /> • General Emergency <br /> • Fire Department <br /> • Police Department <br /> • Local hospital (with address and directions) <br /> • Environmental Protection Agency <br /> • National Spill Response Center <br /> • Poison Control Center <br /> The name, telephone number and location of police, fire and other agencies, as listed <br /> above, are noted below. <br /> Geofon will have mobile phones onsite for use during normal operations and emergency <br /> situations. <br /> A first-aid kit will be located on site. The Site Safety and Health Officer will perform <br /> minor first aid. All first aid, whether it is major or minor, will be administered in a manner that <br /> minimizes exposure to blood and/or body fluids. All first-aid providers will utilize universal <br /> precautions when treating injuries. Universal precautions is an approach to infection control that <br /> considers all blood and certain body fluids to be treated as if known to be infectious for HN, <br /> HBV, and/or other blood-borne pathogens. Where exposure to blood and/or body fluids occurs, <br /> the requirements of CCR, Title 8, Section 5193, "Blood-borne Pathogens", will be followed. If <br /> an injured individual requires further attention, the individual will immediately be transported to <br /> the nearest hospital. A map illustrating the route to the nearest hospital is included as <br /> Attachment 1 and will be maintained onsite. <br /> 18 <br />
