3.8 ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> The Project Manager will have primary responsibility for implementing safety <br /> procedures. The Site Safety and Health Officer will have primary responsibility for enforcement <br /> of safety provisions as outlined in the SSHP including daily Safety and Health inspections. Any <br /> changes to the SSHP will require the review and approval of Geofon's CIH. The Geofon Quality <br /> Control Inspector (QCI) is responsible for equipment safety (other than Safety and Health <br /> equipment). <br /> 3.9 LOCAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> Geofon will comply with all local requirements including noise control and traffic <br /> regulations. <br /> 3.10 SUBCONTRACTOR CONTROL <br /> Subcontractors are required to adhere to all policies and procedures in effect for the <br /> delivery order, including the Site Safety and Health Program, the Site Safety and Health Plan, the <br /> Accident Prevention Plan, all training requirements, etc. Subcontractor equipment and materials <br /> will be required to submit to all required inspections and testing. <br /> 3.11 TAILGATE MEETINGS <br /> Daily site employee safety meetings will be held and documented onsite. Each day prior <br /> to commencing work, a safety meeting shall be held to discuss safety considerations for the day <br /> and work to be done. A safety topic will be addressed each day from the following list: <br /> • Site Safety and Health Plan (first day, and once a week thereafter) <br /> • Site Emergency Procedures <br /> • Fire Fighting Techniques <br /> • Decontamination <br /> 20 <br />
