Changes in <br />the nature of materials may require the use of additional protective equipment. <br />• Hard hat (required) <br />• Work boots (required) <br />• Butyl nitrile rubber or neoprene gloves (as appropriate) <br />• Splash goggles/safety glasses if potential for splash (as appropriate) <br />• Fluorescent vest (as appropriate) <br />• Tyvek Suit (as appropriate) <br />• Hearing protection (as appropriate) <br />• Fall protection (as appropriate) <br />3.3 Required Protection <br />It is not anticipated that protective equipment beyond Level D will be used for this <br />project. <br />Evans Brothers, Inc. and its subcontractors will provide their respective employees with <br />appropriate personal protective equipment as required. <br />4. WORK ZONE AND SECURITY MEASURES <br />4.1 General <br />The work site will be controlled to reduce the possibility of exposure to any contaminants <br />present and their transport by personal or equipment from the site. <br />Minimize the number of personnel and equipment on site consistent with effective <br />operations. <br />Establish control points to regulate access into work areas. <br />Minimizing the airborne dispersion of dust off site. <br />Site specific preparations to best ensure the safety of the general public may change <br />depending on the actual environmental conditions and the work procedures to be <br />performed. These specific procedures are to be described in detail, on a daily basis if <br />necessary by the Project Manager and the Health and Safety Manager and included into <br />Page 8 of 25 <br />
