(AGE) has prepared this
report in conjunction with the removal of two 550-gallon,two-3,000 gallon and one-4,000 gallon
steel, underground storage tanks (USTs)at the referenced address.
BACKGROUND LOCATION
The site is located in a commercial area of very low topographic relief, sloping gently toward the
west (Figure 1 - Location Map) at an estimated elevation of 15 feet above sea level. Depth to
ground water at a monitoring well located approximately '/4-mile north of the site is 30 feet
below surface grade, at a surface elevation of 15 feet above mean sea level. Ground water was
not encountered during removal of the USTs.
UST REMOVAL
The USTs were removed on 18 December 1998 (Figure 2 - Site Plan). The dispensers and
product line(s) were removed during excavation of the USTs. Three of USTs and associated
dispenser had been utilized for gasoline. The two small UST were used for waste or transmission
oils. The dispenser island was located near the west edge of the property. The soil removed to
uncover the gasoline tanks (stockpile A) was replaced and compacted back into the excavation
for the gasoline USTs. The soil removed to uncover the waste oil tanks was stockpiled (stockpile
B) on the east side of the property.
4005 North Wilson Way,Stockton,California 95205
Telephone(209)467-1006 FAX(209)467-1118
