Results of Testing/Servicing
Complete the following checklist:
Software Version Installed: 324.0
Yes I ❑ No* Is the audible alarm o rational? 0 Deafening? (Outside Alarm)
0 Yes I ❑ No* Is the visual alarm operational?
Yes ❑ No* Is the print function operational?
®Yes ❑ No* Were all sensors visually i ted,functionally tested,and confirmed operational?
®Yes ❑ No* Were all sensors installed at lowest point of secondary containment and positioned so that other equipment
will not interfere with their proper operation?
Yes ❑ No* If alarms are relayed to a remote monitoring station is all communications equipment (e.g. madam)
❑ NIA operational?
®Yes El No* For pressurized piping systems, does the turbine automatically shut down if the piping secondary containment
❑ NIA monitoring system detects a leak, fails to operate,or is electrically disconnected? If yes:which sensors initiate
positive shutdown? (Check all that apply) ® Sump Sensors; 0 Dispenser Containment Sensors.
Did you confirm positive shutdown due to leaks and sensor fadure/disconnection? 0 Yes; ❑No.
®Yes ❑ No* For tank systems that utilize the monitoring system as the primary tank overfill warning device, is the overfill
❑ N/A waning alarm visible and audible at the tank fill points) and operating properly? At what percent of tank
capacity does the alarm trig er? 90%
❑Yes* 0 No Was any monitoring equipment replaced? If yes, identify specific sensors, probes, or other equipment
replaced and list the manufacturer name and model for all replacement parts in Section E,below.
❑Yes* ® No Was liquid found inside any secondary containment systems designed as dry systems? (Check all that apply)
❑Product; ❑ Water. If yes,describe causes in Section E,below.
'®Yes [7 No* Was monitoringstem set-upreviewed to ensure ro r settin s?Attach set u reports, if a licable
®Yes ❑ No* Is all monitorin Nuipment operational p2r manufacturer's ifications?
E. Comments: Replaced L2, the liquid sensor in the Regular tank#1 fill sump due to a failure of the high
float.
In addition, all discriminating sensors were tested using the following test procedure to insure complete
operation of the tri-state discriminating sensor:
1. The sensor is submerged V in water to test the lower float. A liquid alarm is detected without positive
shutoff.
2. The sensor is submerged completely in water. A high liquid or fuel alarm is detected. Positive shutoff
occurs.
3. The sensor is removed from the water and dipped (one inch) in gasoline while the resistance readings
are monitored on the Veeder-Root. The fuel alarm will be detected and positive shutoff will occur.
No Other Deficiencies. The facility is in compliance.
