Robert McClellon,R.E.H.S. <br /> Program,Manager Fax: (2O9) 464-0138 Mark Barcellos,R.E.H.S. <br /> UEC 0 8 2004 <br /> MATT HOPWOOD <br /> SBC ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT <br /> P O BOX 5095 <br /> ROOM 3E000 <br /> SAN RAMON CA 94583-0995 <br /> RE: SBC Facility <br /> 7644 Ashley Lane <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed your letter <br /> dated November 10, 2004, in response to our request about information on shallow <br /> underground injection wells existing at the above referenced facility. <br /> Since your septic system is used for the disposal of solely sanitary waste and serves <br /> fewer than 20 persons per day it is not subject to being placed on the United States <br /> Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) "Inventory of Injection Wells". <br /> The dry well that is 18 inches in diameter and 3 feet deep that receives storm water is <br /> considered a shallow injection well, so your facility will remain on the EHD list of UIC <br /> sites and an "Inventory of Injection Wells" form (enclosed) must be completed and <br /> submitted to USEPA in San Francisco (address on page 2 of form). Please submit a <br /> copy of the form to EHD.
