A LEL meter will be on site to measure any oxygen/explosive levels as well <br /> as a PID meter to measure any Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons. <br /> E. TANK AND PIPING REMOVAL <br /> 1. Soil suspected to contain hydrocarbons or any contaminates will be seg- <br /> regated and placed on visqueen. Placer Tractor Service will keep separate <br /> any suspected contaminated soil from clean soil. <br /> 2. The tanks shall be lifted from the excavation with a backhoe or excavator <br /> of sufficient weight capacity, and placed on smooth ground free of rocks <br /> and/or other foreign objects for inspection. <br /> 3. All piping shall be removed as practical. Piping that, in the judgment of <br /> Placer Tractor, cannot be removed must be brought to the attention of the <br /> 't, l d site inspector who will have the final authority to allow piping to be left in <br /> IQ efplace. All piping left in place must be capped off at all openings. <br /> ' 4. The pump island will be removed and disposed of by Placer Tractor if <br /> agreed to in contract. <br /> �j F.
