the Project/Site Superintendent shall additionally: <br /> • Serve as a liaison with public officials and medical <br /> personnel. <br /> • Dispense PPE and ensure PPE is available <br /> • Maintain site security and signs, enforce site control <br /> • Provide facilities and equipment for health and safety <br /> • Set up decontamination lines, control decontamination, <br /> direct preparation of decontamination solutions, and <br /> direct disposal of contaminated materials. <br /> • Notify emergency response personnel in emergencies. <br /> • Enforce safety procedures and buddy system. <br /> • Confirm an employees ability to work based on <br /> physicians recommendations. <br /> • Prepare safety and health records. <br /> The Project/Site Superintendent shall maintain all required records and <br /> submit such records to the CIH for review as may be required. <br /> SAFETY AND HEALTH MANAGER: <br /> Qualifications: The services of an Industrial Hygienist certified by the <br /> American Board of Industrial Hygiene shall be utilized. The name, <br /> qualifications (education summary and documentation, ABIH certificate) , <br /> and work experience summary shall be included in the SSHP. The Safety <br /> and Health Manager shall have the following additional qualifications: <br /> a. A minimum of 3 years experience in developing and <br /> implementing safety and health programs in the hazardous <br /> waste disposal industry. <br /> b. Documented experience in supervising professional and <br /> technician level personnel; <br /> C. Documented experience in developing worker exposure <br /> assessment programs and Air monitoring programs and <br /> techniques; <br /> d. Documented experience in the development of personal <br /> protective equipment programs, including programs for <br /> working in and around potentially toxic, flammable and <br /> combustible atmospheres and confined spaces; <br /> e.
