a , <br /> PERSONAL HYGIENE AM) DECONTAMINATION: <br /> Personnel entering the Exclusion or Contamination Reduction Zones or <br /> otherwise exposed or subject to exposure to hazardous chemical vapors, <br /> liquids, or contaminated solids shall adhere to the following personal <br /> hygiene and decontamination provisions. <br /> Decontamination shall be performed in the CRZ prior to entering the <br /> Support Zone from the Exclusion Zone. <br /> Employees shall be trained in the procedures and the procedures shall be <br /> enforced throughout site operations. Persons disregarding these <br /> provisions of the SSHP shall be barred from the site. <br /> Decontamination Facilities : <br /> Provide for hand and face washing before breaks and at the end of the <br /> day. <br /> DECONTAMINATION PROCEDURES : <br /> Require all workers to adhere to the following procedures whenever they <br /> leave the Exclusion Zone. <br /> Wash hands and face when leaving the area. <br /> INSIDE WORK AREA (PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES) : <br /> The Contractor shall require and enforce that workers NOT eat, drink, <br /> smoke, chew gum or tobacco in the work area. To eat, chew, drink, or <br /> smoke, workers shall follow the procedure described above, then dress in <br /> street clothes before entering the non-work areas of the building. <br /> EQUIPMENT DECONTAMINATION : <br /> Vehicles, equipment, and tools used in the limits of containment shall <br /> be decontaminated in the CRZ prior to leaving the site. <br /> The contractor shall provide a decontamination area within the <br /> Contamination Reduction Zone (CRZ) for equipment, containers or trucks <br /> leaving the Exclusion Zone (EZ) area as needed. The station shall <br /> contain the following: <br /> • Pressure washer/airless sprayer to clean equipment. <br /> • Water buckets, stiff brushes and detergent. <br /> Lined sump and holding tank to contain contaminated <br /> water.
