Secondary containment shall be constructed to prevent any water intrusion into the <br /> system by precipitation, infiltration, or surface runoff. The service technician removed approximately one-quarter <br /> cup of brine and one-quarter cup of water from the fuel additive sump, approximately one-quarter cup of water from <br /> the 87-product(B)fill sump and approximately one-eighth cup of water from the 87-product(A) sump and returned <br /> the sensors to their proper locations. Continue to monitor the fuel additive, 87-product A and B fill sumps and if the <br /> liquid returns, immediately contact a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor to address the water <br /> intrusion. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD)with a statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each <br /> violation, and any supporting paperwork, by April 1, 2017. <br /> The 87 product(A tank), 87 product(B tank) and 91 product spill containers failed to contain a five-gallon <br /> capacity. When these three spill containers fail they shall be replaced with a spill container that has a minimum <br /> capacity of five gallons, is protected by galvanic corrosion, and has either a drain valve which allows drainage of <br /> the collected spill into the primary container or provides a means to keep the spill containers empty pursuant to <br /> CCR, Title 22, section 2635(b)(1). <br /> Please be aware that as of January 1, 2014, facility operators are required to upload the following UST program <br /> documents into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS): UST Monitoring Site Plan, UST <br /> Certification of Financial Responsibility, UST Response Plan, UST Letter from Chief Financial Officer (if <br /> applicable), and the Owner Statement of Designated Operator Compliance.
