Hammer Lane, Stockton, CA and <br /> 2680 Reynolds Ranch Parkway, Lodi, CA <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of: <br /> (1.) Objections to violation 316 related to small liquid accumulations in submersible <br /> turbine pump (STP) sumps "due to condensation, and not liquid intrusion per code" <br /> (i.e., "water intrusion by precipitation, infiltration, or surface runoff') presented by <br /> letters dated 31 March 2017 and 22 May 2017; and <br /> (2.) Comment presented by letter dated 31 March 2017: "The Phil-tite spill buckets at <br /> our Stockton gas station are state-approved and EVR-compliant, and have <br /> been in place since the station opened in 2004. We understand that if they fail <br /> we have the right to repair them rather than automatically replace them. If this <br /> is not correct and these spill buckets are no longer approved equipment, <br /> please provide us with the regulatory citations so that we may review and <br /> change our procedure if warranted." This is in reference to the EHD statement <br /> "When these three spill containers fail they shall be replaced with a spill container <br /> that has a minimum capacity of five gallons, is protected by galvanic corrosion, and <br /> has either a drain valve which allows drainage of the collected spill into the primary <br /> container or provides a means to keep the spill containers empty pursuant to CCR, <br /> Title 22, section 2635(b)(1). <br /> The EHD comments as follows: <br /> Concerning violation 316 - Secondary containment not constructed to prevent water <br /> intrusion (after July 2003): <br />
