Box 2009 300-3 {~ . XlaWV77 i /1'1
Stockton, CA 95201
RE: UNDERGROUND FUEL STORAGE
TANK TIGHTNESS TESTING
Dear Dan,
Attached please find test date and results performed by Integrity Tank Testing
Systmes on our underground fuel storage tanks for 1987.
Please note that initial test, 7/6/87, showed failure of the 10,000 gallon
gasoline and 10,000 gallon diesel tanks. These tanks were uncovered and in-
spected to determine the reason(s) for failure. It was determined that im-
proper venting was creating air pockets which could not be relieved that
accounted for the gains. The tanks were revented and 4 inch risers attached
to center bungs. Tanks were then covered and re-testing performed on 9/21/87.
Re-test results show tanks within tank tightness parameters.
Regards,
GGGtG►'i
G y Scheuring o,('
Purchasing Agent
Stockton Steel, Inc.
GS:dc
ATTACHMENTS
STOCKTON
STEEL
The Herrick Corporation,PO.Box 8429,Stockton,California 95208(209)931-4751 DIVISION OF THE HERRICK CORPORATION
