PARTIAL FACILITY DEMOLITION <br /> ARCO Station No. 5569 <br /> 3518 Hammer Lane <br /> Stockton, California <br /> INTROAUCTION <br /> Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO) is requesting bids for the removal and disposal of all <br /> underground storage tanks (USTs) and associated product piping, dispensers, sumps, and,the <br /> canopy. Delta Environmental Consultants, Inc. (Delta) is coordinating this work for ARCO for <br /> Station#5569, located in the City of Stockton, San Joaquin County. The egntractor will perform <br /> all activities associated <br /> Delia will be responsible with the following scope of work and will work directly for ARCO. <br /> for soil sampling and ARCO-contractor liaison. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Contractor shall fumish all necessary labor, material, equipment, permits, and inspections to <br /> Perform the following work at the above location. All work is to be performed in accordance <br /> with the Scope of Work,site plan, and all applicable sections of ARCO specifications. <br /> I. Permits <br /> A. Contractor is to obtain all required permits, including: a) UST removal permits, b) <br /> Environmental Health UST permits(including State Water Resources tank removal forts <br /> A&B), and c) all demolition and grading permits, etc. as may be required by the City of <br /> Stockton. Contractor shall also be responsible for notification to the appropriate Air <br /> Quality Management District. ARCO's Environmental Consultant (Delta) will provide <br /> technical assistance to the Contractor in order that all permits are procured by the <br /> Contractor in a timely manner. <br /> 2. General Conditions <br /> A. Prior to bidding the Contractor shall visit the site for a pre-bid meeting to analyze the <br /> scope of the project and bring to ARCO's attention any discrepancies between the <br /> drawings, Scope of Work, and site conditions. The pre-bid job walk will be held on <br /> Wednesday, June 20, -2001 at 10:00 --A:M. Pre-bid job walk attendance by the <br /> Contractor shall be required (starting at the prescribed time) if the Contractor's bid is to <br /> be considered. <br /> B. The work to be performed is the removal and proper disposal of underground storage <br /> tanks(including product, vent and vapor lines),pump Islands,ytird lighting,Canopy <br /> and canopy column foundations. Alt gasoline in existing product lines is to be drained <br /> back into the tanks prior to starting UST removal. <br /> K <br />
