ARCI 1 x�'1 <br /> Partial haritity Demolition Rid <br /> i <br /> C 1'al''lily and lmprovemcrtts to he preserved shall include the market building and <br /> foundation, above and below ground utility service (including sewer), trash enclosure, <br /> landscaping and planters, sign poles, and concrete curbing. The Contractor shall locate <br /> and clearly mark underground utility lines (i.e. water, electrical, and sewer service) <br /> before excavation is initialed. Contractor shall be responsible for repairing and/or <br /> replacing market building, utility service lines, perimeter landscaping, associated cement <br /> curbs, etc., at Contractor's sole expense, if such improvements are damaged during the <br /> work at the site. <br /> D. Contractor is to disconnect power firm the building electrical meter to the street pole(if <br /> necessary)prior to the commencement of work. <br /> E. Contractor is required to remove and dispose of any unknown gasoline tanks and piping <br /> found during the demolition in accordance with federal, state, county and city laws, and <br /> furnish the local inspector with the name and location of the legal disposal site if <br /> required. <br /> F. Contractor shall backfill all excavations with clean fill. Contractor shall compact cean <br /> l <br /> SII to 95% compaction and will bring backfilled excavations to grade. Contractor shall <br /> supply ARCO will, a written report including a registered professional signature attesting <br /> to 95%compaction. <br /> G. Contractor is to furnish ARCO with evidence of legal disposal of tanks at the completion <br /> of the job. Final payment by ARCO requires evidence of legal disposal Of the tanks. <br /> Contractor is to remove and dispose of three (3) 12,000-gallon double wall fiberglass <br /> tanks. Additionally, Contractor is to furnish ARCO a copy of the regulatory agency <br /> inspection card at the completion of the job. <br /> H. Contractor will be given a Bill of Sale in the amount of 51.00 per tank for all of the tanks <br /> removed. This fee will be waived. The Contractor will provide a Uniform Hazardous <br /> Waste Manifest for each tank removed from the property in accordance with local <br /> requirements. ARCO will furnish EPA and generator numbers. The Contractor will <br /> remove the Manufacturer's label, U.L. label, and will provide a certificate of destruction <br /> for each tank. This will be a requirement for payment of the project. <br /> L Contractor shall assume that all excavated soil will be transported off site by others, <br /> Excavated soil is to be stockpiled and covered with visqueen. Contractor will provide <br /> loader and operator to load stockpiled soil onto trucks. <br /> J. All tanks, piping, and hazardous waste removed from the property shall be disposed of in <br /> accordance with federal, state, and local requirements and laws.
