MAJESTIC TECHNOLOGIES, INC. <br /> 5 . 0 Ep —A <br /> SCOPE <br /> This Safety and Health Plans (SHP) has been Prepared for Majestic <br /> Technologies, Inc. by a contract Certified Industrial Hygienist in <br /> respose to the Orange County Site Remediation and Underground <br /> Storage Tank Removal project. In addition to all other regulatory <br /> requirements , all work shall be performed in compliance with Title <br /> 29 of the Code of Federal Regualtions , Part 1910, Section 120 (29 <br /> Gyp ig, 1436) sari This 8 of the California Code of Regulations , <br /> Section 5192 (8 CCR 5192) • <br /> 5. 2 PURPOSE <br /> This site specified SHP has the following designated purposes: <br /> To delinate desigated personnel roles and responsibilities <br /> related to project safety. <br /> To describe known and anticipated hazards and requiste hazard <br /> control measures. <br /> To establish injury and illness prevention procedures <br /> applicable to field operations . <br /> To establish chemical and medical emergency procedures in <br /> anticipation of reasonable foreseeable emergency incidents. <br /> To understandably communicate all haiard, safety, and <br /> accident prevention informations to assigned and visiting <br /> site personnel . <br /> 5. 3 APPLICATION <br /> The requirement established by this SHP are mandatory, and shall apply <br /> to all Majestic Technologies, Inc. employees , its subcontractors, and <br /> any other personnel entering regulated work areas during active field <br /> operations. Majestic Technologies, Inc . shall be responsible for <br /> training all of its employees and subcontractors regarding the <br /> Information and contents of this SHP prior to the commencement of work. <br /> In addition, Majestic Technologies, Inc. shall provide a copy of this <br /> plan to any authorized personnel who must enter related work areas (i. e. , <br /> Orange County representative, County of Orange Fire Department, etc. ) . <br /> Finally, Majestic Technologies, Inc. shall maintain a copy of this SHP. <br /> available for Inspection, at the work site during each day of the field <br /> operations . <br />
