Inc., 269 Oregon St., Ripon, <br />CA 95366, Phone # 209-599-2347. The site safety officer <br />will be Lou Tvedt of Paydirt Excavating Co. Inc. The <br />alternative site safety officer will be George Gilmore of <br />Paydirt Excavating Co. Inc. <br />Paydirt Excavating Co. Inc. will have on site two (2) fire <br />extinguishers and one (1) first aid kit within 50 feet of <br />tank location (See map). No smoking will be permitted within <br />50 feet of the tank or areas where flammable vapors are <br />present. Two no smoking signs will be posted at job site. <br />Paydirt Excavating Co. Inc. shall notify the local Fire <br />Department and USA Dig 48 hours before excavation shall <br />begin. Tank will be emptied of product before start of job. <br />Tank will be triple rinsed, the rinsate will be pumped from <br />the tanks and hauled by Refinery Services phone number 1-800- <br />874-4444 address: 13331 N. Hwy 33, Patterson, CA. Dry ice 30 <br />pounds per 1,000 gallon will be used to inert the tanks. <br />Before lifting of tank, Paydirt Excavating Co. Inc. shall <br />monitor tank with a low explosion level (LEL) monitor. We <br />will seal an openings and one (1) plug will have an 1/8 inch <br />opening before tank will be transported along with piping. <br />At no time will Paydirt Excavating Co. Inc. cut or weld on <br />site. Tank will be secured on truck after excavation for <br />transportation. Tank and plumbing will be hauled by Cal - <br />Coast Mfg., 1540 Lynwood, Turlock, CA 95380, phone (209) 668- <br />9382. Paydirt Excavating Co. Inc. will approach all tank <br />excavations with possible cave-ins. The following rules will <br />be followed to prevent any mishaps: <br />1. Soil will be inspected for stability before and after <br />removal of tanks. <br />2. Soil to be at least two (2) feet from edge of an <br />excavation. <br />3. If excavation is five (5) feet or more, the hole shall be <br />tapered, braced, or other equipment methods shall be used <br />to prevent possible cave-ins, precautions will be at all <br />times. <br />
