SPECIFICATIONS FOR DISPOSAL OF 5000 GALLON DIESEL TANK HARNEY LANE LANDFILL GENERAL NOTES 1. This specification is for the transport, disposal/recycling of a partially buried 5000 gallon steel diesel storage tank located at the Harney Lane Sanitary Landfill site, 14750 Harney Lane, Lodi, California. The landfill is located 1 mile south of and 5 miles east of Lodi. 2 . The tank will be emptied of diesel fuel by County personnel. 3 . The Tank will be loaded onto the haulers transport by County personnel . n^ The County will obtain an EPA temporary hazardous waste removal site number for the tank removal activity. 5 . All questions regarding the work, specifications or date of transport are to be directed to Rudy Rodriguez at (209) 468- 3066 . 6. All work is anticipated to be completed by July 28 , 1989. WORK SPECIFICATIONS /1 The hauler must be licensed in the State of California to transport hazardous waste materials. The hauler shall furnish his hazardous waste haulers license number prior to accepting the work from County. 2 . The Tank will be picked up for transport at the Harney Lane Sanitary Landfill site, 14750 Harney Lane, Lodi, California. 3 . Upon loading of the tank by the County, the hauler will be responsible for the securing of the tank to his transport for safe hauling to the disposal or recycling site. 4 . The hauler shall be responsible for the legal disposal and/ or recycling of the tank. 5. The hauler shall be responsible for obtaining all permits and licenses necessary to transport and dispose of the tank and the costs for such permits shall be included in the purchase order amount. 6. The hauler shall be responsible to complete and return to the San Joaquin County Local Health District an Underground Tank Disposition Tracking Record sheet within 30 days of accept- ance of the tank by the disposal or recycling facilitiy.
