Hazleton Ave. <br />Stockton, CA 95205-6232 <br />Dear Sir: <br />Re: Location and removal of the suspected underground gasoline <br />storage tank at 4513 Homer St., Stockton, CA. <br />This proposal Includes the following: <br />1. Supply backhoe and operator for four hours to locate the suspected <br />tank. <br />2. San Joaquin County Public Health Services/Environmental Health Division <br />tank removal permit and fee up to $234.00. <br />3. San Joaquin County Fire permit and fee up to $85.00. <br />4. Removal and disposal of up to 5 gallons residual fuel in the tank. <br />5. Excavation and triple rinse of one, up to 900 gallon underground gasoline <br />storage tank. <br />6. Labor, dry Ice and L.E.L. meter. <br />7. Disposal of the rinsate, tank, related underground piping, and petroleum <br />dispensing equipment. <br />8. One soil sample from under the tank and one from the related spoil pile <br />for a total of two samples. Gasoline tank related samples are tested for <br />BTE8,X, TPH for Gasoline, Oxygenates and Total Lead. <br />9. Backfill of the related excavation with pea gravel and the excavated <br />spoil if useable. ** <br />Total cost for the above is $3,889.00 <br />* Should the tank in question be filled with water an additional charge of <br />$1.50 per gallon will be charged for disposal of said water, plus vacuum truck <br />time at $75.00 per hour. Should the tank be filled with sand or concrete slurry <br />an additional. charge of $450.00 will be charged for its removal from the tank. <br />Any required sampling for disposal will be charged at cost plus 20%.
